The article is devoted to the review of scientific concepts concerning group activities for senior preschool children. Attention is focused that group activities for preschoolers have a great effect on the development of their self-confidence. The essence of the concept of "group activity" is revealed. It is also proved that there is an interrelation between group activities and preschool children's personal qualities development.
