INTRODUCTION TESTS OF PAULOWNIA TOMENTOSA IN THE CONDITIONS OF EDUCATIONAL AND RESEARCH SECTIONS OF GENERAL COMMUNITY INSTITUTIONS

The article deals with the first results of the regional environmental project «Introduction and adaptation of Paulownia tomentosa (Paulownia tomentosa) in the educational areas of secondary schools of Mykolaiv region», initiated and organized by researchers of the Department of Theory and Methods of Natural and Mathematical Education and of information technologies of the Nikolaev regional institute of postgraduate pedagogical education. The biological features of Paulownia tomentosa, as well as the process of introduction and adaptation of this plant in the Mykolayiv region are considered. The optimal conditions for growing Paulownia tomentosa have been clarified and recommendations for the care of this promising plant have been provided. Given the first positive results of the regional environmental project «Introduction and adaptation of Paulownia tomentosa (Paulownia tomentosa) in the educational and research areas of secondary schools of Mykolaiv region», Pavlovnia was proposed for the first time for landscaping the yard of educational institutions of Mykolaiv region. For the first time, recommendations for the introduction and cultivation of Paulownia tomentosa in the conditions of educational and research areas of general secondary education institutions of the Mykolaiv region have been proposed.
The prospect of our study is to further study the biological characteristics of Paulownia tomentosa and enrich the local flora not only with ornamental but also useful plants. Pavlovna felt is a promising plant for introduction in the of the Mykolaiv area. The only limiting factor for the introduction of this plant is the low frost resistance of young plants, which increases significantly with age.
