Abstract

The article analyzes the current state of inclusive education and prospects for its development. The reasons that hinder inclusive education are revealed.

 The main priorities of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in the field of inclusive education are identified. The difference between inclusive and integrated education, the principles of inclusive school and the shortcomings of special schools are considered. A set of measures to ensure the full inclusion of people with special educational needs in the educational process is proposed. As a result, it is proved that the  integration of children with special educational needs into secondary schools will become more widespread and successful when society's attitudes towards these children and the idea of inclusion will change, inclusive activities will be properly funded and there will be necessary training and retraining of future teachers.
