The article attempts to present recollections of Dmytro Dmytrovych Kremіn and the environment of his formation. The values embraced by the artist are substantiated. The study proposes a fragment of V. Shershun's anti-genocide performance «Hershteyn's Memorandum» based on D. Kremіn's poem about World War II. An attempt is made to grasp the greatness and depth of the poet.
