THE PROBLEM OF EMOTIONAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL STATE OF THE DISABLED DURING THE WAR IN THE MYKOLAIV REGION

Abstract

The research paper is devoted to the problem of the emotional and psychological state of persons with disabilities in the time of the war crisis in the Mykolaiv region, and particularly the negative effects of war consequences on the disabled are being investigated and presented in this scientific article. The psycho-emotional experiences and negative war factors associated with the military conflict are the focus of the research.        The authors described the experience of implementing programs in peacetime and during war on the territory of the Mykolaiv region.  Moreover, they worked out a fragment of a lesson to improve the psycho-emotional state and mental health of people with disabilities in the conditions of prolonged uncertainty and war in Ukraine. The article also provides a brief description of the main programs of social guidance that operate in the Mykolaiv region and are related to the social and psychological adaptation and development of persons with disabilities. The authors analyzed the experience of implementing programs in peacetime and during war on the territory of the Mykolaiv region. The paper provides specific examples of practical exercises aimed at improving the psychological and emotional state, which can be useful not only for persons with disabilities but also for ordinary citizens as a whole. The fragment of a lesson to improve the psycho-emotional state and mental health of people with disabilities in the conditions of long-term uncertainty and war in Ukraine is represented in this work. The results of the study can be used in social work, in various inclusive practices and in other structures where activities are related to working with the disabled are implied.
