REFORMS IN EDUCATION FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF THE INTEGRAL MANAGEMENT THEORIES

An educational reform oriented on updating its content and form is being implemented in Ukraine. From the perspective of business-management schools are treated as organizations in the field of education, which are the subject to the rules and methods of various theories of management, many of which are integral in their essence.
Recently among the recognized methods for analyzing the situation in education are evolutionary understanding attempts of changes through the prism of integral psychology (Ken Wilber), spiral dynamics (Clare Graves, Don Beck, Chris Cowan), Ichak Adizes' developmental theory of organizations.
This article represents one of such attempts to consider the reformation processes in Ukrainian education taking into account theoretical developments and practical experience of some European educational institutions such as the Swiss school in Winterthur.
The theoretical features of educational development from the perspective of integral management of Ichak Adizes and spiral dynamics are being discussed in the article. Some practical aspects of these theories' application in the work of the integral coach Robert Macleod are also analyzed.
Conclusions are drawn about the steps that have already been made and what remains to be done in Ukrainian education for the Ukrainian schools to acquire a degree of independence and democracy inherent in European schools.
