SYNERGY OF EXPERIENCE AND CREATIVITY FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE IN TECHNOLOGY AND MANUAL TRAINING TEACHERS

The methodological article highlights the activities of the "Harmony" regional creative workshop as an effective form of continuous professional education for technology and manual training teachers. It establishes that the methodological foundation of the workshop’s work involves the application of theoretical principles, as well as the development and practical implementation of modern educational and developmental technologies. A practice-oriented approach is identified as the leading factor in the development of teachers' professional competence. The components of professional competence for technology (manual training) teachers and effective tools for its development are defined.
The article outlines the principles of selecting topics for the regional creative workshop sessions and designing the content of practical tasks for participants. It demonstrates the possibilities of utilizing workshop materials in the educational process for technology classes (grades 5–9). An algorithm for forming learning content is revealed, based on diagnosing teachers' actual requests and identifying topics according to the State Standard of Education, curricula, and textbooks. This algorithm includes the following steps: defining goals and objectives, selecting material according to age characteristics, structuring based on the principle of sequence (from simple to complex), and ensuring interdisciplinary links.
The stages of conducting masterclasses are proposed. The results of the sessions held over two years are presented, which enabled the creative workshop participants to compile a methodological and technological toolkit. The proposed model of the "Harmony" creative workshop ensures the creation of high-quality educational content adapted to the requirements of the modern school. The systematization of the developed tools allows teachers to effectively transform acquired knowledge into students' practical skills during technology lessons. Ultimately, this form of interaction serves as a powerful stimulus for continuous professional self-improvement of the teacher amidst dynamic changes in education.
