Abstract

The introductory article analyzes key aspects of implementing the Strategy for Gender Equality in Education until 2030 within the context of teachers' professional development. The author examines the regulatory and legal framework, particularly the principles of the New Ukrainian School and the anti-discriminatory approach in educational policy. Special attention is paid to the practical experience of the Mykolaiv Regional Institute of In-Service Teacher Education regarding the development and implementation of specialized training modules focused on gender literacy, psychosocial support, and inclusion. It is substantiated that gender competence is a fundamental component of a modern teacher's professionalism, ensuring the creation of a person-centered educational environment.
