The author of the article draws attention to the related features of the teacher of Chepig and modern school, which characterize the teacher as an example to follow, a person responsible to society for the education and national upbringing of the child.

Chepiga on the importance of the spiritual heritage of the Ukrainian people, emphasizing the national identification of teacher and child, the importance of native language and culture as the main spiritual components that will support the child in adult life.
