QUEST-TECHNOLOGY AS AN EFFECTIVE MEANS OF ENSURING CONTINUATION BETWEEN PRESCHOOL AND PRIMARY EDUCATION

The modern preschool teacher is supposed to be ready to apply new educational ideas, to learn constantly and self-improve.
Due to the profound changes that have taken place in Ukrainian education, the current legal framework directs teachers to solve the problem within continuity of education to ensure unity, interconnection of purpose, content and methods.
Preschool education is an independent system, a compulsory component of education in Ukraine. The purpose of the first child's social environment is to ensure the harmonious development of the child's personality, their physical and mental health.
Particular attention of the article is devoted to children's preparation for school, which must meet certain requirements and criteria. The article also analyzes the Basic component of preschool education and the State Standard of Primary Education. It allows us to conclude that those documents contain such key elements as the requirements for mandatory learning outcomes and competencies of students.
The educational process puts forward new requirements for teachers who should be ready to use innovative technologies. The article reveals the continuity between preschool and primary education by means of quest technology.
The work direction of preschool education institution № 94 called "Mariika" (city Mykolaiv, Ukraine) as for quest-technology is presented.
