TEXT-CENTERED TECHNOLOGIES FOR STUDYING YURII IZDRYK’S POETRY IN UKRAINIAN LITERATURE LESSONS

The article analyzes the theoretical and practical aspects of studying the creative heritage of Yurii Izdryk, laureate of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize, in Ukrainian literature lessons. It has been established that the poet's work is actively researched by philologists who study the specifics of Izdryk's writings. It is proven that Ukrainian language and literature teachers are provided with scientific and methodological resources that can be utilized in literature classes. Based on the analysis of theoretical and methodological developments by domestic theorists and practitioners, it is verified that Izdryk's work represents a striking example of contemporary Ukrainian postmodern poetry and prose of the 21st century. It is substantiated that Yu. Izdryk's creative work resonates with the interests of modern youth, who are capable of perceiving postmodern poetry at their age. The research of philologists and teachers constitutes a broad range of opportunities for presenting his poetry. It is asserted that the characteristics of Izdryk's poetry and texts provide a significant space for implementing original teaching methodologies when working with traditional and digital texts in Ukrainian literature lessons. It is noted that senior high school students perceive poetry as a means of self-expression, emotional self-discovery, and understanding life values, which requires a deep analysis of images, language, and context. It is proven that Yurii Izdryk's poetry is challenging to comprehend in lessons due to its postmodern fragmentation, emotional depth, philosophical ambiguity, and lack of traditional plot structure. It is emphasized that a Ukrainian literature lesson based on Izdryk's poetry opens unique opportunities for developing key competencies if delivered through emotionally safe, intermodal, and reflective practices. Special attention is paid to the practical block of studying Izdryk's works: various original methodologies for text analysis are proposed, taking into account the identified specifics of poetry perception by high school students. Further steps for improving the methodology of teaching the famous Ukrainian poet's work are outlined within the scope of utilizing Izdryk's poetry.
