THE ALL-UKRAINIAN PROJECT "INTELLECTS OF UKRAINE" IN MYKOLAIV Region: FEATURES OF IMPLEMENTATION

Abstract

The article presents the results of research work «Implementation of the competency approach in the scientific and pedagogical project «Intellect of Ukraine» on the basis of Mykolaiv In-Service Teachers Training Institute and regional educational institutions, carried out by the Department of Theory and Methodology of preschool and primary Education. The technological basis of the project is the knowledge level based on the competence approach to the educational process, development of life competence and child's features that are relevant to the ideas of the New Ukrainian School. The pecularities of the competence approach realization in the learning process are revealed. The introduction model of the Ukrainian scientific and pedagogical project «Intellect of Ukraine» in Mykolaiv region is developed and proved. Expediency of the project implementation in curricula of the general secondary education institutions in Mykolaiv region is explained based on surveys, questionnaires and interviews.

 The priority tasks of the Project held by Mykolaiv In-Service Teachers Training Institute are defined that indicates its prospects. All the necessary conditions to implement the Project in Mykolaiv region are identified. The results of work contribute to the versatile development of the child, their talents, abilities, competencies and cross-cutting skills according to age and individual psychophysiological features and needs, the formation of values, independence, creativity and curiosity.
